Since 2022, CREWA (Canadian Real Estate Women Association) has been a place for women to grow, thrive, and succeed in real estate. From the very beginning, our vision was about more than just real estate—it was about empowering women to build businesses, strengthen families, and create lasting legacies.
Over the years, our community has expanded beyond its original scope. We’ve not only welcomed men as engaged attendees but also as speakers, sharing their insights on business, family, and legacy. We’ve had young entrepreneurs—the children of entrepreneurial mothers and fathers—take the stage, reflecting on how their upbringing and parental influence shaped their mindset and future opportunities. These discussions naturally evolved into deeper conversations about how business, family, and long-term wealth creation are intrinsically connected—because at the core, these topics are about WHY we build, not just HOW.
While real estate has always been a major focus, we’ve consistently explored business growth, financial independence, wealth-building, and the family-business dynamic. Whether a woman was leading her own empire or supporting her business partner, the essence of our mission has always been about building something greater than ourselves—something that lasts for generations.
As we’ve evolved, it became clear that our values remain the same, but our name no longer fully reflects the depth of what we stand for. That’s why, as a natural next step, we are expanding our focus and transitioning CREWA into the Business and Legacy Alliance.
